We stayed here for the Frost Fayre last weekend and it was fabulous, old, quirky and very clean and comfy but don't be fooled!! the food was truly appalling and the manager was downright rude. The veg tasted of water and the potatoes were so hard you could not eat them and the manager could not take criticism at all.... More

Just arrived home from a short 2 night break with my Aunt, often been to Glastonbury and always wondered what the G & P was like. Its a charming place to stay, the staff were lovely, food was good and arrived at the table hot. Stayed in the Monk's Cell where someone kindly turned the TV on for us whilst... More

As befits a hotel dating back to the 1400s, the George & Pilgrims in Glastonbury is certainly steeped in history and atmosphere (not to mention the apparent appearance of a ghost or two). Our room for two nights was the Monks Room, where an unfortunate Glastonbury abbot and two of his monks were held the night before their execution way... More

Good ales and cider in an old fashion settings, warm and relaxing atmosphere after a lovely day touring Glastonbury. Not used the hotel so can't comment on the facilities. But I would recommend the pub as very helpful staff.

We stayed in this hotel a year ago on our honeymoon and decided to go back for our first anniversary. The hotel itself is a really old building at the bottom of the high street right in the middle of all the new age/occult shops that Glastonbury is famous for. We booked the more expensive room with a 4 poster... More

We stayed in the old part of the hotel, the uneven floors adding to the charm of our room. The en-suite shower room was excellent and modern. Great breakfast and friendly staff. The owners to need to invest some money back into this period property to honour the heritage of the building, otherwise why purchase such an old building? If you... More

We went for our 10 year anniversary and how I wish we hadn't. Check In time is 2pm and when we arrived (at 2pm)there was a sign on reception directing us to the bar. There were 2 staff behind the bar making sure all the locals were served first before anyone else was attended to. Eventually it was my turn... More

Lovely big old room no 3 with 4 poster bed...for our honeymoon! Clean bed and bathroom, really old but wonderful furniture. Facing the high street. Tasty breakfast...we loved our stay. Only disappointment was not meeting the resident ghost 👻

I love this place, the bar reminds me of the Cantina from Star Wars, it has such a wide variety of people and an atmosphere which is truly unique. It provides good, well kept beer, of which there is always a wide variety and the food is good too. This place is a must visit if you are in Glastonbury... More
