We stayed at Keepers Cottage for 2 nights as we were attending a local event. Emma welcomed us to the property and brought us a cup of tea and some delicious home made polenta cake served with berries: that was just perfect for mid afternoon following a long drive. We choose to be in the Hay Loft, which is a...

What a fantastic place with lovely welcoming hosts. We had the best time here. There are country views from every window in this lovely little cottage - no houses, just fields and cows. The hosts are in the main house down the pathway so are close enough to ask for help but not on the doorstep so it really does...

Just spent a long November weekend unwinding in the luxury of Keepers Cottage. Emma is welcoming, thoughtful and made our stay perfect. We totally recommend Emma's fabulous breakfast hamper with it's home baked muffins, granola, croissants, toast, local jams etc. Yum! And the home made biscuits that are waiting for you on arrival alone are worth the trip to Somerset...

We were greeted by Emma the new owner of Keepers and shown to our Orchard apartment. The accommodation was very warm and cosy with lovely views out over the extensive garden and surrounding countryside. Glastonbury Tor can just be seen in the distance. We had separate sitting and dining area adorned with a beautiful vase of flowers, very comfortable bedroom...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Situated on a quiet country lane on the outskirts of the village of Butleigh, Keepers Cottage is a luxurious, boutique-style bed & breakfast in a secluded, rural location. We are in a truly glorious spot with breathtaking views across open fields and small villages to Glastonbury Tor and the Mendip Hills beyond. Keepers is first and foremost a relaxed and comfortable family home and we offer just three guest bedroom suites - we call them Paddock, Orchard and Hay Loft. Keepers exudes rustic charm with wood floors, vaulted, oak-beamed ceilings, and wood-burning stoves. We combine this with all the usual comforts and conveniences you'd expect, and then add a dash of luxury such as sumptuous furnishings and L'Occitane toiletries, to make for what we think is a really magical combination. ... more   less
