My partner and I have stayed at Dragonfly approximately 10 times over the last 5 years. The house is beautiful, really clean and has a great energy. The owner Angela and other staff are really friendly and accommodating. Very central just 2-3 minutes away from the high street on a quiet street. The rooms are a good size & really... More

This is a B&B, but has rooms for 4 people, either a double and 2 singles, or 4 singles with en suite shower. There are also other smaller rooms sharing the bathroom. I think what disappointed me most was that the price per person for a 4-bedded room adds up to more than you'd pay for 2 usual twin or... More

I have stayed at Dragonfly many times since 2011 & also stayed at other b&b's near to the high street, when its been booked up. My personal experiences there have always been lovely. A warm welcome upon arrival by Angela & sometimes peaches the little cat. The house has a lovely, healing, calming energy with beautiful paintings & decor. I... More

First and foremost although Angela was very accommodating with keys and very pleasant to us - even cooking me an egg when they don't do cooked breakfast we weren't very pleased with our stay. Any other b&b for the rate quoted I would expect a full cooked breakfast. The fruit and yoghurt was lovely but compared to other accommodation in this... More

I've stayed here at least 5 times, & having just joined TA thought I'd see what had been written, so this is not based on a recent visit: I last stayed last Easter. My wife & I always enjoy staying here and have always found Dragonfly very comfortable and welcoming. The short walk to the High St and bus routes... More

Friends who have stayed several times recommended the Dragonfly to me. I am glad that I took their recommendation rather than relying on the reviews on Trip Advisor, as some comments do not reflect well on the place, and I must say now that I have experienced Dragonfly for myself those people who have complained have been rather melodramatic and... I stayed here back in November 2003 (not '12, but the travel drop on this web site wouldn't let me list any other November) and was just browsing around on Trip Advisor to see if Dragonfly was listed here because I had such a brilliant time but there was no Trip Advisor at the time! I was a young female... More
