We had not planned on staying the night in Wells but decided to find a B&B and came across Baytree House. The hostess was friendly and welcoming and very helpful. The room was a good size and light and the bathroom too. There was a kettle with tea coffee and Hot Chocolate which was a nice surprise and a tv....

Just having our tenth stay in Baytree House - still the same. Hot water, clean bed in a clean room (heating already turned on because it's a wet October day!) and a substantial breakfast made from good quality ingredients (Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs!!!) we'll be back again and again!

We had just one night here but would have been happy to stay for longer. We were given a pleasant room, and we were delighted to find that there was a real shower in the en suite not a slippery over the bath arrangement. And the shower itself was very good too. Another thing we appreciated was find a sheet...

I've stayed here three nights now, and while the facility is nice, I had several bad experiences that tell me either the hostess was not on her best behavior all three days, or she should get out of the B&B business and let someone else run this. 1) No shampoo, until I asked for it on the second night, different...

Stayed for 4 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. Baytree is only a 10 minute walk from the centre and has the advantage of plentiful parking. Paul is a typically charming Italian and made us feel welcome from the outset and offered plenty of advice on where to eat etc. We had the downstairs double ensuite room which was quite spacious...

Stayed here for a wedding for two nights April 2012. We had the downstairs double room which was most comfortable and had and en suite with shower. There was also great wifi and a flat screen tv. Only downside to this room is that long lie-ins aren't likely if you're a light sleeper since it is adjacent to the breakfast...

We had a very warm and friendly welcome at this lovely B&B in Wells. It is great base to stay if you want to visit attractions such as Glastonbury, Cheddar, Longleat and Wookey Hole as well as Wells. The room was nice with good facilities and although not ensuite we had our own private bathroom. Breakfast was delicious with a...

We had a beautifully decorated, very clean, bright & airy room overlooking a lovely garden. The beds were comfortable with good quality linen, the small flat screen TV had plenty of channels and the shower was hot and powerful - couldn't ask for any more. The owners were very hospitable and friendly. The breakfast room was lovely and overlooked the...
