Not our first stay, but definitely not the last one. We spent there a night some months ago which was very pleasant. This week we went there for dinner. We had a great 3 courses menu and all of us agreed that it was very delicious. the creamy butternut squash soup way the best I've ever had and also the...

Very poor check-in receptionist and poor attitude. Have to wait for hours even after long hours of flights (>12hours) for a room to be ready and no alternative is given! Breakfast choice is below par. If you prefer to try out the food in the hotel restaurant, PLEASE reserved first EVEN you are the hotel residents.

Dear Kok Boon Ee Thank you for taking the time to post your review. I was sorry to read your comments. As you are probably already aware, our check-in time is from 2pm (check-out is 11am). The room that you had been allocated was in use the night before and the occupants didn’t leave until late morning. The room was...

The Swan is a really excellent hotel - luxurious deluxe rooms, great setting with magnificent views of the Cathedral, delicious food, really friendly staff (including a cat!). I would certainly stay again.

The Swan reflected what we felt about the city itself...full of interest, warmth ( on dry, sunny days ) and good memories. Though not as grand as its neighbours the cathedral and bishops' palace, the hotel was staffed by friendly and enthusiastic people, was comfortable and interestingly stylish. We had an excellent dinner as part of a half-board rate with...

Lovely big family room. Not to much noise either. Clean fresh and we'll maintained rooms. Breakfast excellent and both waiter service and customer service on front desk welcoming polite and helpful. We didnt use bar fotness suite or resturant so cant comment. Lovely venue with stunning views of cathedral. Thoroughly enjoyed stay... Would recommend.

A tasty beef and horseradish sandwich in an outdoor garden which overlooks beautiful Wells Cathedral. Pricey menu but you pay for the view. Basic kids menu but ours shared 6 fish goujonscwith chips which cost about £6.

I felt a little disappointed that when I booked the hotel I was told that my disabled sister-in-law would only have six stairs to climb into the Coach House. At no point did anyone tell us that in order for her to get to the lane leading to the Coach House she would need to negotiate two sets of stairs,...

We have stayed here on many an occasion as it is a perfect location for visiting Glastobury and surrounding areas. Although we have traveled extensively through the world, I have to say this is still one of our favourite hotels.

Booked 2 nights via third party agency ( bookings.com) I realise what I had always though, you get the cheap seats when you do that, well we certainly did. Room 46 is like the black hole of Calcutta, small, dark, stuffy and hot. No air flow. Bathroom was OK, Tried to use fan supplied, sounded like ball bearings in a...

A quirky old hotel in superb location. The hotel is spread over several levels which adds to the charm. Sitting in the garden with the full view of the cathrdral facade is pure relaxation. The rooms are not air conditioned because of the listed status but were comfortable.
