Swinfen Hall Hotel is a magnificent Georgian manor house set in 100 acres of parkland incorporating formal gardens, a private deer park, wild hay meadows and woodland. Flatscreen TVs, DVD players, IPOD docking stations and free wi-fi are standard in all our bedrooms alongside bathrobes, mineral water, a good selection of guest amenities and a well-stocked hospitality tray. As well as our 3-rosette Four Seasons restaurant which is open for lunch and dinner, we have a Bar and Terrace menu for light snacks and offer a delicious traditional Afternoon Tea. We also have a magnificent oak-panelled Edwardian ballroom with a raised stage and fully-sprung dance floor, which is a wonderful venue for wedding receptions, presentations and private parties. We are proud to be an AA Inspectors Choice Red Star hotel - come and visit us and see what this means. Although a haven of peace and calm, Swinfen is just 30 minutes from Birmingham city centre, easily accessible via the M6, M42 and M6 toll road.

My partner and I stayed here as a surprise for our anniversary and it is a truly beautiful and peaceful hotel. We stayed in the Patience Swinfen Suite and it is lovely with stunning views over the park. We had the taster menu for dinner and the food was exquisite and very nicely

We went with friends to the valentines evening on 16 February. I have to say staff were great and service was good - the food however was awful. It was bland and cold - I had to return one course as stone cold and it was replaced. The portions were so small in fact the worst I

Response from SwinfenHall, Manager at Swinfen Hall Hotel

Hi Mrs Atkinson Thank you for your review following your visit to Swinfen over the Valentine’s weekend. Please accept my sincere apologies for the delay in contacting you. I had been away from the hotel on annual leave over the past week or so. Unfortunately, I did not return to the hotel on Monday, as you had been informed, and was unable to return your call. I can appreciate that it must have been frustrating from your perspective, and I have spoken with the Reception team, so they are aware of this. I do hope that you do not feel this is indicative of the level of service we usually offer. I was delighted that you enjoyed the service and felt positive about the staff during your visit on that Saturday. Obviously, I was disappointed that our Valentine’s Menu did not meet with your expectations, particularly as we had such positive feedback while the menu was running. I genuinely regret that you feel unable to return, especially as you had been to the restaurant previously, hence why you came along on this occasion with friends. While we would have preferred to rectify things for you on the evening, I would have welcomed the opportunity to restore your faith in Swinfen. I do hope this is something you will re-consider. Should this be the case, please contact me directly at the hotel and I will make the necessary arrangements. In any case thank you again for the feedback. We will certainly take it on board going forward. Yours Sincerely Stuart Kennedy Operations Manager

We held our wedding celebration lunch here. We chose this venue because Joanne (front of house manager) understood our requirements and was most helpful with suggestions that turned out to be perfect for us. Jo and her team took all of the worry out of the day with their

There wasn’t really any competition in choosing the venue to hold my 50th birthday party, as Swinfen Hall has the lot. Not only is it a fantastic hotel in a beautiful location with well appointed sumptuous rooms and mouth watering food options, but it has the most friendly,
