When I arrived at the hotel I was greeted by lovely staff on reception, they were very welcoming and helpful with everything I needed. The room was clean and tidy. A little outdated but overall was a nice place.
Staff very good .Booking process easy and communication good.I made a request by email and response was prompt . The hotel furnishing looks tired.Hotel not very clearly sign posted. Its hidden behind a pub .
We found the staff on reception to be very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean when we arrived. It was spacious, comfortable and had good basic facilities and plenty of storage space. The bathroom was fine having both a bath and good shower. Very good value.
Good location and easy to locate - central point between the North East and the Midlands. The accommodation was clean and offered a quiet location. The staff were helpful and friendly. I would recommend the place as suitable .
I have stayed in premier inns before and indeed would often choose to do so, and even though this premier inn could do with updating compared to others, the room was clean, and the staff were lovely. They were more than happy to help, helping us order food in. This really made our stay and the little box of chocolates in our room was an added treat, especially with the pub closed next door and no where to eat locally. I would definitely stay here again, highly recommend.
I would like to recommend staying at this hotel ,the staff are friendly, compassionate ,thoughtful ,caring and extremely helpful and supportive, especially Claire who leaves little gifts for us and has fantastic customer skills ,as do all the staff ,but leaving thoughtful gifts ie hot chocolate and small chocolate so lovely to come back too .
Really pleased with our stay, staff were welcoming and friendly and room was really clean. The pub next door was closed so no food but we were contacted in advance. Would stay again when visiting friends!
Fantastic and friendly service from the all the hotel staff. Shame the pub next door has closed but was offered alternatives and was emailed ahead of my visit’ rooms are dated compared to other premier inns but clean and functional
Booked here very last minute due to a family emergency. Just needed a room for the night. Literally at the side of a main road, but couldn't hear any traffic which was good. Hotel seems older than what I have stayed in before, but it was clean and the receptionist was very polite and he advised me of where I could get some food delivered from which I though was very helpful.
This Premier Inn is VERY hard to spot off the A38 at night. The postcode for the Satnav mostly takes you there but the sign off the dual carriage way is very hard to spot and we went passed it twice! However, despite being quite old by current Premier Inn standards (no Premier Plus rooms and dated decor) the room downstairs we stayed in was very clean and comfortable and we had a very good nights sleep. We would like to highlight how amazing and helpful Stef on reception was. She was efficient and understanding sorting out a booking snafu (my fault) and went out of her way to help us get sorted. Stef is a real credit to the company.
