What a find this place was! Great atmosphere in the bar, busy with good mix of people. Lovely hotel room and right in the town centre. Didn't eat at hotel on evening of stay (wish we had!) but breakfast was exceptional.

Booked last minute to visit family. Asked for a quiet room which we had overlooking the back of the hotel and St Mary's church. The room had all we needed, very well equipped with lots of character too. Breakfast was plentiful, cooked choice to order with a side buffet to help yourself from. The Swan was very busy when we...

Blown away with the exceptional level of customer service. A very clean and tidy establishment. Food great, huge variety of food and drink. A place where all ages are welcome and made to feel comfortable and very child friendly.

Great location, fantastic hotel, restaurant, bar and coffee shop everything you need in one location. Friendly, clean, warm and excellent food. Large bedrooms and great bathrooms. Really nice staff and great bar across the road from the same chain.

We stayed here again during a family reunion. The last time was three years ago and once again we could not fault the accommodation and service. The only problem was a car alarm going off in the middle of the night but there was nothing the staff could do about that as it seemed to be coming from somewhere in...

The staff couldn't have been more helpful. The breakfast was fantastic. I loved the coffee shop and staff. The location is good and bad; good because you're in the centre of the town. Bad because you can hear the church bells ringing and that's an issue if you want a sleep. The most disappointing part of the stay was the...

The hotel is nice, but I had some trouble finding the parking though. Had to take a couple of rounds in the city to find the right place to turn. I would like to visit in the summer time also, look very nice for better weather.

My boyfriend and I have just returned from an overnight stay. The room we stayed in was massive and absolutely immaculately clean. The bathroom was a good size too. However I found the bed was too hard for my liking and so sleep was not the most comfortable experience I have had. Unfortunately what disappointed me the most was the...

Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay at The Swan Hotel. I am pleased to read that overall you enjoyed your stay apart from the hardness of the bed. Your comments have been passed on to the Housekeeping team. Regarding your breakfast experience, please accept my apologies for the shortfall in the standards of food and...
