I stayed here several times when I was younger, and the main thing that stuck with me was how Hans and Norma always remember you. My father still stays here at least once a year when visiting the area. It is a charming hotel, full of character and very friendly staff. Always made to feel welcome. Hotel facilities are some...

The front desk receptionist was in no way helpful, asking for the wifi password was made to seem like I had aske the earth, there was a dog behind front desk that tried to jump up while I was checking in, the walls are paper thin, the room was grotty and horrible, the shared toilet and shower looks like its...

Being from a different region of the wall, I appreciate the choice of the owner, Mr. Hans to maintain the charisma of the building and its decoration with its retro design, which some of the other reviewers may call depressing/old/etc. Anyway, the hotel location was great for my business trip purpose, few minutes walking distance to Alstom; with some supermarket...

Stayed here while working away from home recently . Cheap and cheerful , does what it says on the tin ! Rooms pretty basic , some don't even have a toilet and shower ! Decor could do with updating too . Rooms on the back of the hotel are away from the main road . Big car park to the...

The hotel owners were not...

My friend and I needed to stay over night for a friends party. We arrived to find the hotel on a busy main road but close to where we needed to be. The gentleman on the desk was friendly and we checked in. The decor on the stair case was very dated and carpet had seen many days but once...

On a very busy road, high level of traffic noise, but I had a room at the back overlooking...the car park, which was at least quiet. Decor very floral and dark in public areas, stair carpet shabby, lumpy spring mattress. Doors to rooms have very cheap look and feel. Why would you want to stay here? I like to support...

It is a very nice hotel, the rooms are tidy and clean, the breakfast is very good, but undoubtedly the main factor is the family atmosphere that the hotel and the owners Hans and Norma provide, cease to be service providers to be actually become friends.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. If you need a place to put your head down then this is as good as any. Admittedly the rooms need a little work but the bed was comfy. The breakfast was good, however my only gripe is that for someone who doesn't drink tea or coffee I had to keep on asking...
