The most awful dinner I've ever had for a major meeting. It was a dinner for about 200 people. The service was fine but the quality of the meal left a lot to be desired. Mine stone soup was a thickened tomato group. The roast beef main course was tough, the Yorkshire pudding soggy and the vegetables watery and over...

Good for the price and the staff helpful but building in poor condition. Dinning room had peeling paint from damp and curtain falling down, bedroom was just dowdy with bad decor. Bathroom cleanliness good. Cleanliness in foyer and outside front door unacceptable for any star rated hotel!

We were in a way booked in here to attend an event in Hanley so had little knowledge of it and did not consult TripAdvisor. Arriving it looked liked a station Hotel but on entering it was clean and tidy with the public rooms and corridors in a quite good condition, the dining room just off the reception looked good...

Possibly the worst experience when it comes to hotels. This was meant to be a convenient and easy stay for business, my stay would last three nights and include wifi in which I was sure to check personally with the hotel if they provided wifi, yes they did. I arrived to the hotel checked in, got to my room it...

This place is old but fine. Clean, food ok price on the cheaper side so does the job for a stop over. Not keen on having to pay for parking. The biggest problem is the turmoil cause by roadworks, not down to the hotel obviously.

Went for an oul lads weekend to Stoke and stayed in the north stafford hotel for the second time unbeknownst to ourselves. The place is cheap and cheerful. The pints in the bar were lovely and the breakfast the next morning was sound. The bed was grand as I slept like a baby. The only downfall was the Johnny machine...

Ah yes, the infamous Britannia Hotels chain. To be honest, I sort of knew what to expect having once stay in a Britannia hotel before, but hey, I thought I'd give it another go given that the location was ideal and it was for only one night. I turned up late to check in and finding the car park wasn't...

Firstly, try finding the car park to this place in the dark if you're not used to the area. Tucked away and no signage. The hotel itself was like something out of the 70's. The food was consigned to 70's cookbooks. Every floorboard creaked, Everything was ancient, pipes cranked loudly. Room Amenities were awful. Could hear everything from other rooms,...

What can I say. The hotel would not have seemed out of place had you arrived here 50 years ago. The management have retained much of the 1960s era in this grade 2 listed building and the common areas and decor reflect this era. The decorative state of the common areas and rooms is somewhat tired, but you must reflect...
