The room itself was relatively clean, it wasn't perfect by any mean but was adequate! Although I had my food paid for I still didn't really want to chance going and eating in their restaurant. Bad points - the kettle had the wrong base and every time it was turned on it sparked and I had to hold it down...

We recently stayed at the plough motel. Staff were friendly, room basic but clean. But it seems to be some kind of half way house and full of long stay tenants. When talking to the guy doing breakfast the next morning and expressing our concerns of having to walk past a large group of people at 01.00 who were outside...

Me and a mate visited here for 2 nights. The staff were very friendly right from us arriving to us leaving. OK so the room was the cleanest or the most up to date we have stayed in. But for the price we paid and what we needed it for it was great. Lovely beer in the pub can't comment...

Great place for the price. Cheap as chips and give you fair room/facilities for that. People moaning on here should have paid more and stayed elsewhere. Nothing wrong it at all but if you want room service and a spa then pay £100 not £25.

I stayed here for one night after a conference. Check-in was quickly and easy and staff very welcoming. The room was adequate; it had a tv and tea/coffee making facilities. Although the decor was very old and dated, the room and bathroom was spotlessly clean. Biggest disappointment was the mattress. It was so old that you could feel every spring...
