Comfortable room with lovely bathroom, tea and coffee in rooms. Very clean, and and beautifully furnished. Breakfasts were delicious and served in lovely downstairs room filled with interesting pictures, furniture and beautiful crockery etc. Hosts very welcoming and helpful throughout 3 night stay.

We stayed two nights in the Oak Room of this gorgeous and very quaint house in the heart of Lavenham. The room was delightful (but watch your head on the shoulder height beam as you enter) and had a large comfy bed. Bill and Gillian were good hosts and looked after us very well. It is a cottage so don't...

We stayed in the oak room for 2 nights. The bed and pillows were comfortable with a lovely cosy duvet. Tea and coffee was provided in our room but it was nice to be served tea and cake in the garden when we arrived. With only two guest rooms the service is personal and the breakfast freshly cooked. The house...

Perfect cottage, perfect hosts and an amazing town. A beautifully authentic and welcoming home with original exposed beams, massive fire place and cottage garden. Perfect. I would recommend this B & B to anyone wanting a real taste of English medieval charm.

Our one night stay at the Guinea House was exceptional from the house itself to the host and hostess, Bill and Gillian, and the breakfast. It was a treat to stay in a house over 400 years old and furnished with every comfort.

Thank you Bill for a wonderful, comfortable cosy and delightful stay in Guinea House. It was unfortunate for us that Gillian was away however you made sure that we had everything we could wish for and more. To have tea in the beautiful garden not long after arriving set the tone for our two night stay. Together with fellow guests,...

A delightful B&B. The building and rooms are full of character, as befits a house in Lavenham. The bed was enormous and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. I could find no fault with it, even if I wished to.

Every now and again during a holiday we've been prone to come across an overnight stay that proves to be so memorable yet when we try to pinpoint exactly what made it so special we're unable to say. Usually it's the location, the view, the breakfast, the sense of decadent luxury you've wallowed in overnight; certainly a combination of all...

We spent a night here in January. The house is a lovely timbered old Lavenham cottage, with pretty chintzy rooms. Our beds were comfortable and the en suite produced plenty of hot water. Breakfast was excellent and our hosts charming.
