I have to travel to an appointment on a monthly basis and have stopped both times so far at Pavilion house. Gretta & David are very welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. I stopped for a few days the first time with my mum and my dog and Gretta advised us on dog friendly beaches and places to go and...

We stayed at the wonderful pavilion house for two nights and had a great weekend. The place is lovely and the rooms are beatiful. Its like living in a dream and we have to point out that you wouldn´t mind staying longer. The breakfast was delicious and the beds comfortable so we will never forget this short visit and want...

This B&B was very tastefully furnished and the hosts couldn't have been more helpful (especially sending on my shampoo after I left it!) and gave an excellent recommendation for eating out in Newmarket. We've stayed in 5 star hotels with less impressive decor. The breakfast was exceptional down to the carefully selected china, and it was obvious that the chef...

My husband and I had a wedding to go to and we were staying the night at Pavillion House, which was near to the venue.. We arrived at Pavillion House to get changed 30 minutes before the ceremony only to realise that I had forgotten to bring my outfit for the wedding and had only brought jeans with me. Gretta...

What a truly wonderful place to stay. Set in beautiful open countryside and only minutes away from the A14, this lovely b & b is an oasis of calm and tranquility and deserves more than just five stars in our opinion. From the moment we arrived and were welcomed into this beautiful home, we knew we’d picked a winner. The...

For short stays we find it's usually better to stay in small friendly family run places like the Pavilion than in a corporate Premier Inn type of accommodation. The Pavilion is an ideal "travellers rest" which we are using more and more given the state of Britain's motorways these days. Breakfast is served by friendly owner Gretta on a large...

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome. It was the perfect blend of professionalism and genuine warmth. The twin bedroom was spotlessly clean as was the bathroom. The bed linen and towels were perfect. The breakfast was delicious, David and Gretta were attentive without being intrusive. We were lucky enough to have great breakfast companions at...

Where to start? Breakfast? So delicious with home made bread and jams and marmalade. Communication? Good conversation and advice about the locality. Accommodation? The design of the house allows a "wing" of three rooms that give a sense of independence. My room looked out onto a beautiful garden that was very inviting to walk around. All you could wish for,...

Pavillion House is by far the best B & B that we have ever stayed at with luxurious comfort in every respect. David and Gretta are the perfect hosts and immediately made us very welcome as did the chocolate labrador and cat. Gretta provided us with an excellent light supper and and next morning, a splendid breakfast with omlettes made...
