Just spent two nights here in a pokey room with no wardrobe, shower in a toilet like a cupboard. Couldn't close old sash window. Noise from outside till 4 am. Do it yourself "breakfast" with milk that was off. 81 year old had to lug suitcase up 35 stairs. All this pleasure for £

Just stayed at kings for two nights. The worst two nights of our lives. We were put in room 14 which we entered by a fire escape. We were in Newmarket for the horse racing meeting. This is not a hotel, it is a night club. We checked in at 1pm and headed to the races. On our retur

Hotel was nice and clean, comfy bed and nice evening meal. I was in room 1 at the bottom of the stairs, very very noisy will people coming in and out of the front door! Also cooked breakfast not served until 10am for some reason. Bit tricky to find, you will probably go passed it

Spent two nights here recently, lovely room including tea/coffee, microwave and toaster. Also restaurant with good food (large portions) and friendly efficient staff Garden with comfortable seating (some under cover).. Really enjoyable stay..Good location near shops
