The Crown is often not firing on all cylinders - either the service or the food is not quite right, However, we tried once again and were not disappointed. The special Valentine's menu was superb, from the amuse bouche to dessert. My husband has a...More

Paid £11 for a G&T only to be insulted by the staff. Ignorant restaurant staff. Has bouncers on the door in the evening....says it all really. Not family friendly. The worst experience I’ve had in Suffolk. Disgraceful.

Hi there...my husband and I were on our own...so can't comment on being baby friendly. What I can tell you is that the bedroom we were in had plenty of floor space to put a cot by the bed, the whole hotel was lovely and even though it was right in the middle of the town, it was really warm and quiet. There are also lots of seating areas dotted around the hotel, free parking and the staff are really lovely. x
