We had a two day stay in the Oak Room which is very large with a big bathroom to go with it. Peacefull and secluded location with great gardens. We were made to feel very welcome and thouroughly enjoyed our stay. We will be back in the not to distant future. Maurice & Helen

Family and friends from the US and UK converged on the Old Rectory in Campse Ashe/Woodbridge for a weekend to remember. The site provide access to castles, footpaths, beaches, sailing, shopping, art galleries and more. Our party of 18 had plenty to do as a group and as individuals. The food was authenically English and innovatively prepared. Our guests raved...

My husband and I have just returned from a 2 night weekend break at The Old Rectory. We stayed in a room called 'The Coach House' which is in the grounds of the main building and, as the name suggests, is a converted coach house. The room has a huge bed which is marketed as a king size, but I...

My wife and I stayed at the Old Rectory as a birthday present for me. From the moment we arrived we both were made to feel thoroughly welcome. We were offered complimentary afternoon tea with homemade cake and this set the tone for a wonderful weekend. The Old Rectory is nestled within the quiet Suffolk countryside but is within easy...

What a find........ From the last minute booking we made to the moment we left Sally & Mike made us feel very welcome and could not do enough to make our stay as pleasant as possible. As stated in other reviews on TA evening meals are available here but not on weekends. Sally was happy to recommend a nearby pub...

From the moment of arrival until we left we enjoyed being part of the 'family' that is the family and guests at The Old Rectory. Very well located we enjoyed Suffolk. All important places are in easy reach of the hotel. We travel a lot, both at home and abroad, and we have not found anything better.

This is our second stay, and it was just as good both times. The place is peaceful, friendly and beautifully decorated. Our room had a huge, comfortable bed. Lovely grounds, too, and great for exploring Suffolk. Breakfasts and dinner were delicious. A few aspects of our room could have been updated, e.g. TV, some bathroom fittings. But overall, I'd recommend...

We were looking for a short Sunday to Tuesday stay to get a couple of days 'r and r' without having to travel too far. We hadn't been to Suffolk for a few years so started by looking in the Aldburgh to Woodbridge area. Found The Old Rectory on the internet (not Trip Advisor) and as they had a good...

We have been coming to The Old Rectory in Suffolk for many years, after staying at various other hotels and B&Bs in coastal Suffolk. The Old Rectory is by far the best place in that area. It is a beautiful old house with a large garden overlooking a church. The house is tastefully and comfortably furnished, and there is plenty...

This review is taken from an email I wrote to Mike at the Old Rectory after my recent stay: I wanted to write a few lines to say how wonderful you're service was, I arrived more than 2 hours later than I had planned, parked my scruffy "builders van" in your front yard, and you didn't bat an eyelid and...
