Having stayed before at the Harbour Hotel in pleasant well equipped rooms, I decided to treat myself and daughter to Afternoon Tea as a Birthday Treat. I tried to book online, and my enquiry was never answered, so I called the next day to book directly to be told that the systems were down, but someone would call me back...

Stayed one night at the Harbour hotel. The bar and restaurant were great. Good service and lovely food. Great atmosphere in the bar area with some really arty decor. Have to say I agree with the comment re the duvets - lumpy and cheap. Such a shame as the room and en suite were really lovely otherwise.

The stay at Guildford wasn't the best at all, we got told the spa was fully booked so wouldn't be aloud to go in and use facilities and couldn't get a treatment, which was the purpose of our visit, so wasn't impressed at all !! Wouldn't recommend or return to Guildford habour, breakfast over prices and nothing better then a...

What a wonderful hotel! Tucked away at the top of Guildford, but still right in the heart and within walking distance of shops, bars restaurants. A thoroughly modern relaxed, non stuffy feel with a fantastic reception area lounge area with a great bar area where you can have cocktails to coffee! Bar staff, friendly, funny, polite, smart and clearly enjoy...

Firstly, this hotel does not have a swimming pool. The spa next door which is run as a separate business has a couple of immersion pools but also has nowhere you can swim a few lengths. Unlike competitor hotels you cannot call in and use it whenever you wish. You must pay and book a slot. The same is true...

Dear Peter H, Thank you for taking the time to leave your recent review, I am only sorry that we did not meet your expectation during your visit. Unfortunately we do not house a large pool and so for safety reasons do have to restrict the number of people entering at the weekends. We are very pleased however to confirm...

A nice enough hotel but missing details that could make it so much better. Lovely friendly reception staff. Rooms fine. Shower /bathroom smelt a little damp. Spa dark at night - you wonder what you are not seeing. Beds comfortable but duvets and pillows felt like cheap hollow fibre options... with no temp control and hence a bad nights sleep....

Dear elizabethNi, Many thanks for your recent feedback which I have of course read with disappointment. It is very rare to receive complaints regarding the linen and to have two reviews regarding the same suddenly. This will of course be investigated. Thank you for taking the time to bring this to my attention as it is only with constructive feedback...

The Guildford Harbour Hotel is located at the top of High Street, in excellent walking distance to several nice restaurants, pubs and shops. A 20 min walk to the train station provides great rail access. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. The rooms are a bit unique in styling, focusing on a red and black motif. Not...

Was only using as a base, however when I saw the Bar I could not help but arrange to meet there, we ended up staying there most the evening, great spot, reasonable prices... Lovely atmosphere and a really nice place to catch up. The room was not huge but perfectly adequate for my needs. Would have been nice to have...

Reception staff couldn't be more helpful and the profesionalism went on in the cafe and bar. Whilst our party of four did have a 90 minute wait for food! Was a very busy Saturday night and the food was well worth the wait. Live music with afternoon tea was a nice touch as well! Room was well maintained, clean and...

I don't live too far away from this hotel so I can tell you the decor internally is really nice, the position in Guildford is very good for shopping, eating out or Glive. There is a hotel carpark which I think is £6 overnight so it's cheaper to use the G live carpark which is literally next door and also...
