Stayed 3 nights in the suite with 4 poster bed. Great nights sleep, great choice of continental breakfast and great hosts. The hotel has a warm and friendly feeling - a real home from home. Great value for money will definitely stay here again when visiting the north east.

We greatly enjoyed 2-night stay. Warm welcome and wonderful room. Glad we chose the ensuite option-well worth it; bathroom was larger than many hotels. Great breakfast and wing chairs were added plus.

Loved this B & B in a beautiful house with loads of character and gorgeous grounds. We had a massive room including a comfy four poster bed, huge bathroom and dressing room. Loved breakfast which was served continental style but with lots of choice and warm croissants or toast if you wanted it. Very handy for Newcastle or the Metro...

Who needs a fry up - this was much healthier. They've modernised the bathrooms since I last stayed 2 years ago and it's a big improvement. Overall it...

Booked this "hotel" for one night whilst visiting friends. Couldn't book anywhere nearer due to all hotels being booked up due to the Rugby World Cup. "Hotel" is not how I would describe it, it's a beautiful Manor House set in 4.5 acres. Upon arrival you enter a large reception area that's not sure what's it meant to be, there's...

Great staff, good continental breafast, nice room, quiet garden, convenient transport. The only shortcome is the thin wall in the room we stayed (twin room), the sound of the other room can be heard by us which is very awkward.

We stayed on a Sunday after a last minute decision and got a great deal on generic hotel last minute web site. Room number 5 - four poster with ensuite huge double sized bath. Separate dressing room as well. The bedroom was huge with views of garden. Peace and quiet after a manic weekend
