The hotel is stunning in fabulous surroundings Our hosts Dave & Antony where fab loved the oriental and grand prices of furniture. This Hotel is worth a stay there as we love character properties ... The drive up into the grounds it feels like your at the Lake District or some where wooded and remote . Peaceful tranquil and a...

Beautiful accommodation in a lovely setting. We were made to feel very welcome, home away from home. Bed so comfortable and breakfast perfect, healthy and just enough. Very memorable and worth just going to Ryton to experience staying there. Have to say my standards are high and this is a true 4 star accommodation.

I am on my second visit to this charming hotel as I was impressed with my first visit. The rooms are very clean and are decorated to a high standard. The garden is a delight to stroll around and all in all it is a very good value for money hotel. The continental breakfast is also of a high standard

Gorgeous place to stay. We stayed here for the magic weekend and to visit family. It was nice to be away from the town centre for a change however, Metrocentre and newcastle town centre is only a short bus ride away from the stop outside the hotel. The room we stayed in was large and immaculately clean. Breakfast was included...

We stayed here while visiting Newcastle for the Magic Weekend. The hotel is beautiful and you really feel like you step back in time when in the rooms which have obviously been cared for at great expense. It's around £11 for a taxi to Newcastle centre too. Would definitely recommend as a short break. Much better than the chain hotels....

Took a cab here from Heddon on the wall during a Hadrian's wall walk. Places to stay around this portion of the trip are hard to come by, but it's only 7.20 each way with a cab to here from the 3 Tuns pub. Rooms are a nice size and very clean. The breakfast is continental only, which isn't an...

Enjoy the garden for a short stroll and sit for a rest. The Hotel was good restored, has comfortable and clean rooms with good beds. Also the shared bathroom was much cleaner than most other hotels. Lovely breakfast with lots of things to choose on the buffet.

Very enjoyable stay, room was spotlessly clean with immaculate linen. Decor is far more interesting than a corporate hotel. Breakfast provided us with plenty of choice and the staff were very friendly. Would recommend and will visit again.

A lovely hotel .Because it is set in its own grounds ,and set back off the road, you get a great sense of being miles in the country, although in fact your only 15 minutes from newcastle. The host was very nice and everything was spotless.Would definately stay again and thoroughly recommend.
