Had an afternoon tea in their restaurant. Lovely views of river from our window table. The afternoon tea left me strangely underwhelmed. It was all perfectly acceptable but I couldn't say more than that. One of the sandwich fillings almost tasted like that Heinz sandwich filler stuff that comes in a glass jar. Cakes were average but not exciting. Have...

restaurant for afternoon tea.Sandwiches were good but not exactly refined. Cakes were very boring and fely as if we had been given left overs. Main dissapointment was apart from being shown to table--staff never visited the table at all throughout the meal. Very dissapointing

Friendly staff, central location, clean rooms, comfy beds. We didn't book breakfast as I thought it expensive. But as we arrived they had an offer for £7.50 each, which we thought good value and booked.

My room was tired, single bed very uncomfortable, and the sound proofing definitely needs improving. WiFi was very, very slow. On the plus side the...
