We booked this hotel for a stag weekend through agents "Chilli Sauce", we didn't expect luxury, but nor did we expect it to be an absolute dump! Our 2 rooms were below ground level, with 5 beds in each, without windows or suitable ventilation, One room smelt of urine on arrival which was probably down to the plumbing issues. The...

It's somewhere to get your head down but nothing to write home about. We always had an incredibly warm welcome, I've stayed 3 times. It's cheap, it's friendly and OK if you're not planning on making the hotel a big part of your trip. Nightlife is great people are very helpful and friendly. Big up the toon

I wasn't sure what to expect before I arrived but upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised. That being said, the car park really isn't suitable as there are only four small bays at the back of the hotel but seeing as we managed to secure one, I can't really complain too much. The room itself was more than fine, especially...

No such thing as free hotel parking, not even an hotel, parking for 3/4 cars, had to park on double yellows all night. The beds were actually made from wood, bedding and mattresses not up to standard. No chance of sleep when you've got music banging out from bar underneath room till midnight, spoke to owners about this, didn't seem...

I guess the hotel side drags the Jam Jar down in my view. Toilets very basic. And we all know the best places have the best toilets. Yip. Enigmatic. I'd give it one more try.

Paid £90 for 4 bed room and we got a £90 room. All we wanted was a room to stay as we was out that night before travelling to a wedding. The room was spacious but very cold, the bedding was ok and the beds pretty comfortable, although we was pretty smashed. The decor was ok but still had wet...

I booked this hotel for one night for myself whist visiting a friend in Newcastle. I paid £65 for the night. On arrival, I gave my name and was asked to pay cash. I explained I only had card and that I was in a hurry to make a dinner booking. Kindly, the lady on reception told me I could...

I know this is a budget hotel but this should be closed down! Staff are friendly especially the young man on reception who took care of our luggage. Back to the hotel... we were taken to our room and noticed water on the floor, and the bed was soaked, problem was the tap in the room above and water was...

Four of us stayed at this Hotel midweek. Honestly it has to be the worst hotel we ever stayed in. Two of us were given a room which resembled an out house. It was detached from the property and was out in the back yard. The other room was very basic and had no hot water. We will not be...
