Great stay in this quirky and fun hotel that is a million miles away from run of the mill! Surrounded by objects d'arts and sherbet lemons, you soon realise that this something different. Had a family room that was plenty big enough and served as our dining room for our buffet breakfast which was novel and well thought out. Staff... More

The hotel is a delight. Very shabby chic with beautiful vintage furniture completing the ambience, which was lovely. The staff were so friendly and helpful and happy to make some excellent suggestions for wonderful places to eat. They could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable and we would definitely recommend to our friends and return when next in... More

It’s birthday time again and whenever our birthday falls on a week night we always choose to stay within an hour of home. Some may find this a little odd but we both love the North East. For just one night we relinquish the title of mummy and daddy and embrace being Suzanne and Richard. SO was it daddy or... More

Stayed here for one night early November with my partner and we absolutely loved it. The hotel is decorated beautifully and has a real homely feel as soon as you walk through the door and the room are just something else. We stayed in a room on the ground floor that was decorated with big chandeliers, traditional furniture and vintage... More

Loved staying here for two nights. Very comfortable bed, lovely breakfast that was served in the bedroom. No noise - on a very quiet square but close to public transport (bus) that takes you quickly into the centre of Newcastle. I plan to stay here again.

This hotel was the cutest and most thoughtful I've ever been in! When we arrived in the evening we were left olives and two glasses of wine for our arrival. We had a perfect continental breakfast in our room that looked out into a beautiful church green. The bed was extremely comfortable too! The hotel is a £3 taxi journey... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful; the bedrooms are light and airy; and the hospitality is welcoming and generous. The rooms are also spotlessly clean and decorated and furnished in a quirky way :-)

We were only down for a few days visiting family so didn't spend much time in the hotel. Even though there was 5 of us in the room, we had the one at the top of the hotel (room 5), with 3 small dogs there was still plenty of room. It was fabulous. The stairs could be a bit cluttered... More

Recommended to us by a friend, I stayed here with my girlfriend when we can to visit uni friends, the building is a beautiful old Georgian house in the popular area of Jesmond. The receptionist was exceptional and greeted us with G&T's before showing us to our room. The rooms are designed uniquely and have a style no normal hotel... More
