This hotel looks a poor second to its cousin across the way, but our room was spotless, very quite, the bed comfortable and the staff really friendly and helpful. we were visiting our daughter living in the centre of Newcastle and this was the best value hotel we could find. about 10-15 min drive away

I've had to come up to Newcastle a few times in the last few months and stayed in a few different hotels. If you want a good night's sleep this is the hotel to use. It's an older premier inn but still perfectly fine, good nights sleep, hot shower what more do you need. It's right next to the A1...

Small and left behind by newer PI's in the locality, this quiet little gem with a small number of rooms may be a bit faded round the edges but the incredibly helpful guy who booked me in puts this PI in my top 10. The Flaming Grill next door is not the best place for food but it was ok....

John on reception was more than helpful. He must of lived under the desk as he was the only receptionist we saw for three days. Can't commend him enough. Who...

Nice bathroom with a lovely shower. All very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and additional pillows provided in the room. We paid extra for breakfast which included various...

Reasonable, small hotel with clean rooms. Reception staff very friendly and helpful! Wouldn't eat in the restaurant though, and a bit of a drive to Newcastle (£10 by Uber) if you plan to go into the city a lot.
