Key Points: Location: Can't really get anymore central. Price: Reasonable. Rooms: Brilliant for that kind of occasion. Staff: Amazing. Food: Budget food (tastes alright). Bar: Amazing. One of the best hostels, I have ever stayed in, would recommend this place & would stay again.....

Best budget value in Newcastle, comfortable, clean and well maintained for those on an extended stay. Used as a base for exploring Newcastle. Easy access to Subway (8 min walk) close to shopping and sights in Newcastle. I used the single room option with bathroom. best value in all of Newcastle. Friendly staff well meaning.

The room was nice & tidy and quiet too. There was no remote for the TV, but that was an extra for a small deposit, which was not needed in the end anyhow. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I did really hurt my back on the bunk bed ,which is my main memory of this place, as well...

Yes a 5* review for a Hostel - it exceeded all expectations and deserves that for what it is! Let me start with the honesty about myself. I’m a snob, I stay in nice hotels, I don’t camp and my idea of slumming it was an inside cabin on QM2 so my expectations of Euro Hostel were LOW. I’ve never...

Stayed on a Saturday night. The room was a strange shape with five beds squeezed in. There was a TV on the wall with no remote control and it was difficult to see from the bed. The room was shabby but clean. Best points was the beautiful clean crisp bedding. There was some noise but we slept well enough. At...

Stayed one night at start of Hadrians wall walk. Very clean place and friendly helpful staff. It is basic but it's a budget stay and has everything you need. My room had en suit and I was more than happy. The breakfast was excellent and great value. I would recommend to anyone

Genuinely one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in a hostel. I worked front desk in The Green Tortoise, San Francisco, for two years and have never experienced such a badly run hostel. Firstly, I emailed the hostel in advance to request that my friend an I be given bottom bunks allocated as we were partaking in the Great...

Stayed here in July as a group of 6 and we couldn't fault it. We were in an eight bedroom sharing with 2 strangers but we had lockers under the bed to store our valuables. Staff were friendly and we enjoyed the atmosphere in the bar area before we headed out. Beanbag room was definitely a bonus when hungover. Centre...

1. Their customer service is shocking. They talk to all customers of any age like they are scum and will trash their rooms. 2. They also then demanded a £30 bond per person in cash. 3. The rooms look like they've been attacked with hammers. 4. Breakfast was ok though - bit of a positive. 5. Email and phone correspondence...

First of all they didn't have our reservation as there was a problem with there website. Finally get up to the abysmal room to find its next to a fire door with a Brocken hinge which slams as people pass through ( every 2 mins ) inside the room my beds next to a window that doesn't shut at all...
