It's very rare I find myself thinking "just about everything about my stay away from home was excellent" but this is certainly what I think about my brief time at The Arden. The hotel building is attractive, well maintained and in great location. There are many hotels that are similar in this regard but few that make the extra effort...

We took a last minute break to see something new at The Swan Theatre (review to follow). The hotel Dinner, Bed & Breakfast package is great value. Due to work commitments, we could not have the pre-theatre dinner, but having ordered from a very well balance table d'hote menu before we left for the theatre, we were served an excellent...

A pleasant and mid-sized hotel in a good location just across the road from the water and on the edge of the town centre. Plenty of bars and restaurants are just a short stroll away, and the RSC theatre is directly opposite. It also has the advantage of it’s own good sized car park. Check-in was pleasant and friendly, and...

Thank you to the fantastic staff at the Arden Hotel. We had an amazing couple of days here. The room was brilliant and our package included champagne. Nothing seemed too much trouble and the rooms being turned down at night with hot chocolate and oat biscuits being left was a lovely touch. The location was brilliant. Very central next to...

Our Valentine's weekend get-away this year and it was not disappointing. The greeting upon our arrival was top, the room was lovely and the chocolate covered strawberries and bottle of sparkling wine was the perfect touch. Our room had a bathtub in the bedroom - nice touch! Tip; there is a "Lush" store in the neighborhood so you can buy...

We booked a Superior room at The Arden Hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. When we arrived we had been upgraded to a suite, with champagne on ice, chocolates and a card! The staff were all very polite and attentive and even show you to your room rather than just being given a key and pointed in the right direction....

Excellent hotel if you are visiting the theatre. Clean and comfortable with helpful staff. Had to wait quite a while in the evening to get a drink in one of the bars as several groups came back from the Theatre and they only seemed to have a skeleton staff at this time.

My wife and booked the Arden mainly because we were going to see a play at the theatre. To this end it was ideal, being no more than a stones throw away from the theatre itself. So I'd highly recommend it if you are coming to Stratford to see a show. The hotel is not really what I would pick...

Let me begin with the positive right off the bat. There was ample parking spaces, and given that we were driving a smallish motorhome thing, it was great to be able to park it easily. (Yeah...I hear ya...why did we stay in a hotel if we had a motorhome? - Because the nearest caravan park was 3 miles away, as...
