We love The Falcon. It is a very pleasant hotel, clean and welcoming, and the staff are very attentive. It is also central for everything from shopping, to cinema, to theatre. This is our third trip to the Falcon, and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else In Stratford.

The building itself , of black and white colour- typical style in Shakespeare's time- a delight to look at from outside! While inside the room , one can enjoy modern facilities. Its one-minute-walk to the main street and the good restaurants , and few minutes to the theatre and museums; and not far (5 or 6 minutes walk)to the Alpaca...

As a solo traveller I often notice that the rooms I am allocated in hotels are not very spacious, but Room 316 in this hotel takes the biscuit. It was one of the smallest single rooms I've ever been in. I attach a photo for reference. The bed was uncomfortable, there was no space to unpack the bag and store...

Perfect location if you are going to see a play in the evening. You can both walk from the station and to the theatre. The staff is charming ans eager to please the visitors. My room was large and very quiet; I loved the little toiletries bottles and soap in the bathroom.

Although the room was comfortable I don't sleep very well at the best of times and staying here was no exception. I didn't sleep at all just laid there watching the hours pass. Not the hotels fault though. We were well treated in the areas that we used

A friend and I each stayed for one night at the Falcon in Stratford - we each had a reservation for a room. The hotel's positive attributes are that it is is centrally located - it's close to the theaters, close to shopping and dining, and the train station is a 15 or 20-minute walk away. Also, its public spaces...

We were on a Travelzoo deal of £99 for dinner, which was pretty good, plus B&B. Breakfast was good too, with plenty of helpful staff in evidence. The room was OK but had suffered from a series of incompatible decorating ideas. The extractor in the bathroom didn't work. But the location is absolutely amazing, and the £5 parking fee for...

We loved the look of the hotel and were expecting an elegant interior and room. We got a small room on the third floor, overlooking rooftops just outside the small window, and a shower that didn't work, and a heated towel rack that didn't heat. We couldn't make outside calls from the phone and had to go down to the...
