It would be a 5 for location and external appearance especially on the sunny days we were there. But it's marked down for service and rooms. Service was sloppy and at times some gave a great sense of not being bothered, especially in and around the restaurant, including being told we could only finish off our meals with dessert if...

What stood out for me was the particularly rude and obnoxious waiter who served us our lunch. He considered himself far more important than anyone else around and was, basically, unsuitable for the job. I wouldn't visit again because of him.

My wife and I spent a day at the Spa. We had a treatment each, enjoyed the swimming pool, sauna and generally a good chill. We finished off with a traditional tea and scones, which despite the weather being wet, didn't rain on our day as we finished off enjoying the Manor's pleasant grounds. The staff were very charming and...

Visit was a 2 night b&b stay (inc. one 3 course evening meal with wine) deal via Groupon. It's a stunning 17th century manor house with lots of original wood panelling, fireplaces and period furniture in the public areas, set in beautifully landscaped gardens. Also has an in-house spa/swimming pool. GREAT LOCATION AND ONLY 15 MINS DRIVE FROM STRATFORD UPON...

This was a birthday break for my husband. We had room 1 which was lovely comfortable and spacious. A nice gesture was that he had a happy birthday message, wine and chocolates in the room. The staff and service was excellent. We used the spa which was also very good with again helpful staff. The only down side we found...

What a beautiful setting! We stayed in the Seed barn which was a little disappointing but the gardens and the main house were stunning! Had one of the best three course meals in a very long time, like the best master chef contestants on a really good day! And Stratford on Avon is well worth a visit. Took a rowing...

On arrival this hotel looks very impressive as a traditional Manor House, the staff are friendly on check in, finding our room felt like moving through a rabbit warren, this may not be the most suitable for people with mobility issues or unsteady on your feet..the stairs are extremely narrow in some areas which although give it some charm can...
