Having booked a 2 night stay at the hotel for the beginning of March following our much-awaited registry do, we were looking forward to the chance of having a relaxing weekend while exploring Shakespeare country. Upon arriving, we were warmly greeted by the reception staff on duty that night and upgraded to the bridal suite which was a brilliant gesture!...

Visited Billesley Manor to use the leisure facilities. Beautiful grounds but the hotel itself seems run down - a lot more could be done! General cleanliness could also be improved. Had lunch in the bar prior to using the leisure facilities, £7 for a sandwich which I wouldn't have minded if a bit of effort had gone into it! Terrible!...

We checked in for our short break but originally were put in the annex not the hotel !! We weren't happy when we saw the room and certainly didn't warrant the price with its threadbare dirty carpet and small boxy room with a few hairs on the suppose clean bedding!! I complained and was put in a better room in...

This very old, beautiful, quaint hotel was our first stop on Thursday afternoon. Our room was not quite ready as we arrived early, but we were invited to utilise their spa facilities, which can be accessed either through the quirky hotel or through their beautifully manicured gardens. The pool was smaller than that at a typical leisure centre but adequate...

This hotel is a few miles outside Stratford upon Avon. The food is excellent both at breakfast and evening. There is a friendly spa and very attractive grounds. There is also a redundant 11th century church in the grounds although unfortunately it is approached via the septic tank. We stayed in the old part but there is a modern extension....

My wife & I stayed at this hotel for 1 night as part of a course we attended. The character of the hotel is everywhere which sets you up for the full Shakespeare experience just down the road. The accommodation was generous with a very comfortable king size bed, however the drainage of the sink was running very slow. The...

We have just arrived home after our second stay at Billesley Manor Hotel. We spent a lovely relaxing Christmas here. Whilst there were a few 'niggles' nothing could detract from the wonderful atmosphere and charm of this Elizabethan Manor House and the exceptional courteous, friendly and helpful staff. We stayed in the barn, which is really quiet and relaxing and...
