On arrival we were greeted with a smile, welcomed with tea and cake and Bill immediately gave us much of his valuable time to describe the Shakespeare attractions as well as the social attractions in Stratford upon Avon. He listened to our ideas about how we wished to utilise our 48 hours and his local knowledge shone through by being...

My husband and I unexpectedly arrived on the doorstep of Moss Cottage to be warmly greeted by Bill, our host for the evening. Tea and conversation made a delightful change from hotel greetings. Bill's knowledge and wonderful anecdotes of Stratford-on-Avon enhanced our early morning walk along the old streets enormously. His recommendation for dinner at The Bell pub was also...

Me and my wife stayed at Moss Cottage for a weekend break and found Bill very welcoming and knowledgeable about Stratford: over tea and cake he told us about the different walks you could do, pubs to eat at etc. The bed was comfy, mattress very good, and breakfast was great. The yoghurt and granola and fruit mix set you...

This is the second time we've enjoyed the wonderful hospitality at Moss Cottage. Bill is the kindest, most welcoming host one could wish for - it's like staying with a friend. His homemade cakes, jams and breakfast yoghurt are delicious. A short walk from the town centre and the theatres, this is the perfect place to stay in Stratford. We...

This was my second visit, and as before I was made very welcome by Bill the host, who remembered me from my previous visit and offered me cake and a cup of tea on my arrival. Moss Cottage is a little further out than some B+B's, but the walk into town is quite an agreeable way to start the evening....

We stayed at Moss Cottage for the second time in October 2016. We looked at several choices for our stay in 2013 and settled on this B&B after reading the favorable reviews and it was one of the highlights of our trip. When we returned, we couldn't imagine staying elsewhere. Bill is fine host, and he maintains a spotless property...

Bill (the Host) was excellent throughout the whole process from booking on line right up to leaving after an overnight stay. Greeted on arrival with cake and a cup of tea which was most welcome. We had a lovely visit to Stratford-Upon-Avon and our stay at Moss Cottage was wonderful. Our host, Bill, was friendly, helpful, and knowledgable about the city and offered tips on restaurants and attractions. Our room was clean and comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was delicious! We highly recommend Moss Cottage.
