My wife and I stayed in this terrific B&B during a 3 day stay in Stratford in 2015. Approximately 15 minutes walking time from train station and an easy and pleasant 30 minute walk to pretty much any of the major Shakespeare sites (we had no car) including the RSC. The Garth House has lovely, tasteful decor, large and well...

Surprisingly quite for a place so close to the town centre! This is probably the closest you can stay without being worried about the crowd that pours in in Stratford. Just minutes walk away from the popular tourist attractions & very close to the theatre, it is quite convenient for covering all the historical places! The owner "Ian" was courteous,...

My friend and I recently took both rooms at Garth House for our two night stay in Stratford-Upon-Avon. We arrived in the morning and were greeted by Louise, who (we were pleased to hear) advised us our rooms were already ready for us and who gave us the parking permit for our car - off to a great start. We...

Comfortable, informal, homely and cosy, and very convenient for Stratford town centre. Very reasonably priced too. Breakfast was good. Plenty of tips and information about local restaurants. We used it as a base for Malvern Flower Show, ideal.

Garth House was the first stay of our vacation, and it was a fantastic way to start! The location is a very short walk to all the action of town, but far enough away to have peace and quiet in the evening. Our room was cozy but very pretty. Our car was able to be parked right out front and...

This is such a nice place to stay at Shakespeare's country-easy reach, within most tourist attractions, comfy, well decorated room, amenities just like a high rated hotel and so friendly owner. I would recommend this to my friends definitely!

We have just returned from two nights at this fantastic Guest House. The owners had made full arrangements for us to get in the property (usually they are in residence, but were going on holiday) and Eleanor their daughter had ensured that keys were available along with the parking permit even though we were arriving before she would be there...

This B&B is run by a charming and accommodating couple in their own home. My room was tastefully decorated, spacious and comfortable and had free Wifi access. Breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. As a postgrad student in Stratford I have tried 5 or 6 different B&Bs: my only regret is that I did not find Garth House sooner...

Ideally located, charming place with large spotless rooms run by a charming couple serving a delicious cooked to order breakfast. Parking permits given as well as a relaxed time in a beautifully decorated place. Definitely would visit again.
