Rooms out of the sixties, appalling noise insulation ( you can here your neighbours in the toilet) I was in a Superior room? Over priced bar menu, Marriott and Hilton are cheaper. Stayed here for location but I am happier to travel further than to stay again

Booked a room for two. Room very small with one 4ft bed, hardly a double, obviously cosy, but the room was too small for a full double bed or two singles. Warm and clean. Restaurant staff unfriendly but receptionists were pleasant and helpful. Stayed here because of location but if I needed to be in the same area again would...

Dear Richard R. Thank you for your review and also the review you left on booking.com. I have responded to you there also, regarding my apology you were allocated a 3/4 bedded room and not a double. Reception were delighted you found them friendly. I have spoken to the Food and Beverage Manager about his team, as it is most...

Stayed here twice on conferences. Once I had a room in the newer part of the building and once in the old. Both were warm, clean and comfortable. I am vegan, but this did not phase the kitchen staff who served me some lovely meals that were the envy of my colleagues. Staff in the dining room, bar, reception and...

I stayed for one night here recently for a work conference. The hotel is located about 10 mins walk from Bournville train station and the village of Bournville is lovely. The staff were really accommodating to us and provided everything we needed. The night porter (sorry if that title is wrong) was great. He was always available to replenish our...

This was a fab find. Tucked away in the village of Bourneville, lovely big room, comfy bed, excellent en-suite. The bar area is lovely for a relax or to play pool or watch tv. They do bar snacks too and we were so pleased to find fish finger sandwiches the bar menu, a favourite of ours that you don't see...

I stayed here whilst on a business trip recently and was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The staff were very friendly. There was ample parking. It is in a nice location and is easy to find. The breakfast was great and they even went to the trouble of buying in vegan sausages for me so I could have a vegan...
