The Old Farm is just that - an old farm. If you go expecting slick modern lines along the lines of a Travelodge/ Premier Inn you will be disappointed. If, however, you want a cosy, friendly, clean, convenient hotel you will be very happy. This was my second stay at The Old Farm. I was met by a friendly, polite...

Attended the Old Farm Hotel as part of a after funeral reception. Welcomed by very friendly staff serving tea and coffee. Buffet food was excellent, nicely presented with sandwiches, vol au vents etc. Reasonably priced bar. Pleasant secluded rear garden for warm afternoons. I would imagine that the hotel is a nice place to stay for one or two days.

We arranged to have my sons christening reception here. It was an amazing afternoon in a beautiful setting. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The buffet was superb and received many compliments. We would definitely hold a function here again.

Third time we have used this hotel whilst our daughter was at the university. Each time the staff have been very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast with lots of choice of fruit and cooked foods. Plenty of parking.

I have ummed and ahhhed about whether to actually write a review of this place because technically we never stayed the night, as after worrying and debating for 15minutes we picked up our backs and handed back our keys and refused to stay in the hotel, something I nor my fiancé has ever done before. However I would want to...
