We have stayed here several times. Really good location, easy to walk into city centre. Staff are helpful, rooms clean and well equipped- not luxury but everything you need. Breakfast good, and you can park there too.

I stayed here on a Thursday night before Christmas. The pubic areas were fine, but the room itself was very dated and fairly basic. In particular the anaglypta wall coverings must have been up a long time. I also disliked the very small separate toilet. It felt pokey and hated not having a sink immediately beside the toilet. The room...

Booked this hotel which was far from the cheapest using the trip adviser site for the recent Madonna concert as it was literally five minutes walk from the venue - which was its only saving grace. Apparently all twin rooms consist of one bed and one sofa bed which was like sleeping on a rock - there was mould on...

Stayed the weekend for a university academic meeting. Prices bit more expensive than Premier Inn, but the facilities are definitely better. Premier Inn has nothing other than a related restaurant. This hotel has a big reception area, nice bar and restaurant area, and conference halls, I suppose. Never stay in a Novotel before. I suppose I'd after this, I'd check...

We visited on a very busy Friday night, the service was quick and the rooms were lovely, comfortable and welcoming after a long drive. The room view wasn't the best overlooking a water logged car-park across the road but that can be forgiven somewhat. The shower was brilliant, hot and powerful, just what was needed first thing in the morning....

We are a couple with an 11 year old daughter. We stayed on a Saturday night as we were visiting the Christmas market and seeing a show at Symphony Hall. The hotel is perfectly placed for both. We booked a family superior room but were able to upgrade to an executive for an additional £13.95 which was well worth it....

Just had our office Christmas party here. Started well with welcome drinks but seriously let down by poor quality of food and slow service. The band was pretty good however and the DJ ok too. The cloak room was not attended at the end of the night and some items were stolen from my guests. Novotel did promise to reimburse...

Overall great value for money, great size room (very spacious), extremely comfortable bed, good facilities in the room and a fantastic breakfast. We considered our room was very quiet for a very busy city centre location (right in the hub of the night life) - rooms towards the front of the building might be a little noisier - and we...

Just returned from Birmingham where we visited the Christmas market. We arrived early and requested early check in which was not accommodated despite several people leaving the hotel that morning. Room was good size on the 4th floor but had to return to reception twice as keys didn't work. In the evening we ordered room service and settled in with...
