Stayed here last weekend. Very reasonably priced, receptionist friendly and helpful when we required to print something off. However the carpet in the room and bathroom floor dirty. Hairs in bath and sink. Shower curtain dirty. Bedding also had stains. I have stayed here several times over the past few years, I would only return if the cleanliness improved.

This place wins the award for the worst hotel. Nice little banner saying we have a basement bar. But it's only open when they feel like. The rooms are filthy. And the manager looks so stressed out that he's smoking every 10 minutes. Oh and then there's the strong smell of weed from all over the hotel. And it wouldn't... More

Very friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms, lovely breakfast, quiet location with ample parking, hard to find a fault with this very reasonable hotel. Bar facility in the evening although I didn't use this, reception area available.

After a long day and a late night, I returned to the hotel to find my key card wouldn't work. The man on reception tried all keys that would over ride this problem but to no avail. Was left standing in the corridor whilst needing the toilet then had a find someone to unlock a door in the reception area.... More

I went for the cheapest choice in Walsall at the time of booking. And this is what you get. Room very dated and bed is very soft and squeaky. I agree with all the reviews below. Nothing special and you get what you pay for so do not expect miracles.

It's a cheap but not very cheerful place. Very tired looking rooms & general decor. The basement bar is grim. TV didn't work, no instructions for anything. Excrement down the side of the toilet, no toilet brush. Not very nice at all. But it's inexpensive. Last resort only.
