Walking into a bar to check in was a new experience. Luckily someone with a red shirt spotted us and handled the check in. The room was clean and tidy but very warm and no apparent way to control the heat. One tiny window in the bathroom opened a couple of inches but the main window in the bedroom could...

Have stayed here many times and find it very suited for my needs as a travelling alone guest. I would certainly recommend this venue. Rooms are a little small for couples I would imagine but I like the place for my own trips when I'm alone.

The room was unbelievable warm and the heating/air con system seemed to do nothing than make a lot of noise. Unable to open the window due to the noise outside. This resulted in a very uncomfortable sleep.

Due to the non standard reception (no desk staff in red T shirts with hand held tablets) I was unable to identify the reception staff as I arrived, the one staff member I saw was talking to a group on a sofa. He was therefore unable to notice me either. Not his fault but rather annoying. Stood like a lemon...

I stayed here for one night in a double room. The check in staff were very friendly and very efficient. My room was fairly large and exceptionally clean. The bathroom/shower was also a decent size and a lot bigger than at some hotels I've stayed in. A lovely comfortable bed. My room was on the 3rd storey and at the...

Walking from Birmingham New Street, I did expect the hotel to be a little easier to find, however I did get there in the end by following the signs to the Hippodrome. Hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, as soon as you appeared in reception they would be there to assist in whatever way you needed. Speedy check-in &...

Stayed for one night after going to an event in Birmingham, and will not be returning to this hotel. Loud music from bars and nightclubs that I can only assume were directly below us. The bathroom floor was shaking with the reverberations from the music, which went on until 5am. Called down to reception at 01:00 to see what time...
