It was windy and horrible cold day when me and my mother arrived to Marriott hotel in Birmingham. We hope we will send lovely and relaxing SPA day, but we both were completely wrong. On arrival we were greeted by one miserable man attending the reception desk. His tone and body langue were appalling, we were clearly not supposed to...

We had a stay here for Super Bowl Sunday, two rooms. Very attentive staff. Lovely rooms, fourth floor corner rooms. Robes and slippers, big baths. Bar food is limited in choice but we had a drink in the afternoon and one in the evening. Ate in Brindley place, a short walk from the hotel. Buffet breakfast, okay. Tea and coffee...

Grandeur meets the eye in the entrance. The staff were very polite, and on registering that it was I and my mother's birthdays, surprised us both with complementary birthday sweet treats. The room was spacious, beds comfortable, bathroom well-equipped and well-stocked with toiletries. We were gifted extra room keys on request, and were able to book on a deal making...

Stayed for just one night whilst visiting son at UOB. This is probably the fourth time we have stayed here and when we visit our son this is our first choice to stay. The desk staff were very attentive and we were delighted with our given room. slight confusion when someone arrived to make up the sofa bed as there...

Quality of accommodation was superb. My only criticism concerns staff - reception was unwelcoming and we found it difficult to understand their English pronunciation - mix of Asian and Eastern European staff. Example: I was asked, ' do you want to leave the car open'? What? Leave my car open , why? She meant card. Room service requests were similarly...

3 nights at this hotel was one of the best stays I have ever had at an hotel. I stayed in the Superior room where you had the little touches of espresso machine, fridge, robes and slippers. On coming back from work I had noticed that you also get the little touch of turn down service where little chocolates were...

My mother and I came here for a spa day booked on a Buy A Gift.com, it was a 'Special Spa Day' which meant we each got access to the spa facilities, and one treatment each. The day overall was good, the lady who did both mine and my mothers treatments was fantastic, so welcoming, lovely and friendly and the...

Lovely warm welcome by the front desk staff, lovely warm clean rooms very classically decorated, spotlessly clean and the room service breakfast was the icing on the cake. and in those most famous of phrases "I WILL BE BACK"

We've stayed in a number of Marriott hotels over the years but this one is far the best we've stayed in. The welcome at reception was great with lots of recommendations for our stay. Our room was clean, comfortable and much larger than we expected. The bathroom was spotless. Although over looking a busy main road the room was silent....

Being a Marriott member of staff I have been fortunate enough to stay at many hotels - but this one is at the top of the list. We drove up from London for a concert, looked locally and found this to be the better value hotel in the area. I stayed in room 420 and it was stunning, lovely views...
