Called in here today for a coffee. The car park was looking unkempt. The front door to the hotel was looking quite scuffed as though people frequently open it by kicking it with their feet. The chap on reception who also made the coffee was smartly dressed and friendly. When I went into the lounge bar there was no one...

Lovely afternoon tea with family. My first visit which was pleasant and very reasonably priced. Castle Bromwich gardens are at the rear of the hotel and often have events open to the public. The hotel is an excellent base for anyone visiting Birmingham with close links to the M6 and the airport.

The hotel is stunning, and the rooms clean and comfortable. My big gripe here was the rubbish wifi in the outbuildings where I was staying. The food was fairly average and breakfast dire. Coffee undrinkable! The staff were nice enough but just looked fairly lost at times. It is a shame that such a stunning hotel which could be a...

My room was very comfortable and a good size, although not in the main hotel. The ensuite was a decent size and very clean. The heating was controlled from the room. The décor of the hotel is lovely. The waiting staff in the restaurant were helpful, attentive and very welcoming. The food was delicious !! The bar area is very...

Stayed here with my daughter and grandchild while visiting crufts. Room was large but surprised to be allocated a second floor room in a block with no lifts when we had the usual massive accessories needed for babies. We had requested a cot but nothing was in the room. We fairly quickly received a travel cot but with no linen...

My husband and I stayed for one night before our holiday. The hotel is absolutely stunning and I wouldn't consider anywhere else if flying from Birmingham. At the same time I can see why other people have made comments about the noise levels from rooms and rooms needing a bit of TLC. Personally the advantages outweigh the disadvantages for us...

The hotel is beautiful and well equiped. I loved the design and furniture. The staff is professional and friendly. I also had a very good dinner in the restaurant inside the hotel. The bill is not that cheap, but it is a right price for the services.

I'd heard afternoon tea at the Hall is popular so I wasn't surprised that I had to book almost 2 weeks in advance and we went on Saturday 25 February 2017. When we were eventually shown to our table I was surprised that there was only one other table of 6 ladies already occupied. There were 4/5 more tables in...

Ok so i come here too often for a spot of lunch...but there is reason for that...i like the building, the staff are excellent and the food well more than enjoyable. Now that is not a reason for you all to go running there as that would spoil it for me but if your passing and need some refreshment then...

Castle Bromwich Hall Hotel and an equally imposing building immediately next door (which must have been positively semi detached at the time they were built) are the oldest buildings for miles around.Entering the cul de sac that is the entrance road into the hotel you cannot help but notice overgrown hedges and a large formidably stark purple For Sale sign....
