Not a hotel review (which will follow) but the booking experience. Booked via tripadviser eventually because other sites don't seem to have any idea what "pet friendly" means. Thought £58 was a reasonable price for one night but unable to confirm that we'd have our dogs with us I thought I'd best call ahead. After much searching to find a...

Great hotel room for £55 for one night stay, room was modern and spotless and kingsize bed comfortable. They give 30 mins of free wifi as well or £3 for 24 hrs which was very handy. I was very pleased with everything and room on fifth floor is very quiet for business clients, which was appreciated. Parking at the adjacent...

Now, there isn't really much to say about Travelodges, really. They're much the same. But as Travelodges' go this really is quite a nice one. For shopping in the Bullring and Grand Central it is in a really great location, even though it is well located though it benefits from being pretty quiet (although I guess this can depend on...

Hotel itself was ok, nothing special, but the outside was next to a grassed square, and it seemed every drunken teenager and homeless person was drawn to it, making it really noisy (and a bit scary to be honest), getting to and from the hotel entrance

Did not think you will get a good night's sleep on the put up beds. They are basic! The noise from the busses right outside run all night and the windows do not have good seals on them. The internal door have huge gaps and you feel like you are in their conversations as other guests walk up and down...

A fantastic location for Birmingham city centre. The only reason I didn't give 5 was the noise and the cleanliness outside the hotel, (cigarette butts mainly). Staff very welcoming every time you entered the hotel.
