I surprised my other half with a night here on 17/02/17. The staff were delightful at reception, very quick check in. Room was spotless and clean. Bed was comfortable and whole feel of the suite was second to none. Refreshments and mini bar were well stocked and even complimentary goodies were lovely. Short walk to a whole host of restaurants...

Great service soon as we arrived, bedrooms were lovely and clean. Unfortunately there was no hair dryer in our room and didn't find that out until after the shower! Bar was nice and busy, had a nice atmosphere about it. Great location to other bars at the mailbox. Breakfast was very nice and waiter service was brilliant. Would definitely stay...

Stayed with a group of friends for a celebration. Check in was quick and efficient. Room lovely and very comfy bed. Lovely breakfast. Didn't eat dinner but menu looked good. Wine a bit pricy but it is what it is.

We stayed here for one night as we had an appointment and it was easier than making the drive twice in one day. Hotel is tricky to navigate to as you can only access it from certain directions and roadworks in the centre of Birmingham made it even more difficult. There is an attached car park which is under the...

Stayed for a couple of nights recently and it was fine. Room was pretty big and comfortable, fast wifi, breakfast tasty! Bit of a pain to get to if you're driving as the middle of town is being dug up and redesigned, but parking (Mailbox) is easy and right next door to the hotel.

We were expecting a sophisticated French restaurant with nice subdued lighting and some gentle background music providing a lovely atmosphere. What we got was loud thumping 'music' meaning we could barely hear each other talk. The atmosphere was like being in a work canteen and the food was over priced and (in my case) very poor quality. My fillet steak...

Comfortable stay in a standard room. Good seating, good work space, nice comfortable bed, good TV channel selection. Being located in the Mailbox there were a good choice of restaurants approx 10 - 15 mins away.

I love Malmaison hotels so I always choose them if there is one. This one is a short, easy walk from Birmingham New Street and very central for shopping. We stayed in a one bedroom suite which was very spacious and comfortable, with a large bed. It comes with all the things you would normally find, such as bathroom toiletries,...

The room was lovely, dressing table, table and 2 chairs, queen size bed. Toiletries were to a very high standard with sealed cotton buds and pads. Refreshments we're very high standard with filter coffee bags and great selection of teas and got chocolate. Mini bar and snacks well stocked. The bed and bedding has to be the most comfortable bed...

We thought we'd spend my birthday at the Mailbox. Check in was fine, room was lovely, although the towel rail was broken as there was no heat. We went down for our meal and we had our inclusive cocktail, and it was lovely. Meal was fantastic with the option of either a 3 course fixed menu or £25 per head...
