If you don't mind a tiny room starring straight into a building and having to deal with traffic noise, then a "City Double" will suit you. During my stay they couldn't/wouldn't switch me to a different view, even as I offered to pay the category difference of having a room directly across the hall. No bigger, just not starring into...

Received a phone call half an hour before we boarded the plane to tell us that there was no hot water in the hotel but that it should be fixed in the morning. Offered to cancel or continue with stay with no discount. Advised as I was travelling by plane in next 30 min I had no choice but to...

Stayed at La Tour last night.... no water. The staff were, mostly, very helpful (offered to relocate me but unable to provide wet wipes!) but not the best stay. I had to haggle for a 25% refund the next morning.... it was not given automatically or suggested. Also, I booked 5 weeks ago and requested a low floor - they...

An hour later there was a knock on my door and a colleague told me we were being moved hotel. Five of our group, including myself, and been missed. Back to the...

Hotel is very centrally located and only a couple of minutes from the Bullring shopping centre. It's very modern with additional security on each floor. Room was very clean with good lighting and a comfy bed. The only downside is possibly the parking - we were lucky to get parked as we arrived early but the car park was full...

The title of this review literally were the words said to me 15 minutes before we arrived in Birmingham after a two hour drive. I received a phone call and told the hotel has no hot water so they can either refund the price of the room or we can stay and accept the fact that there's no hot water....

We stayed at this hotel for two nights, the latter to see the Rod Stewart concert. The hotel cannot be faulted in any way. Our room really was brilliant and all the staff unbelievable. The food was out of this world. Nothing was too much trouble. I am sure the staff were not trained to be like this, they really...

First time we stayed at this hotel and the reception check in was very good. The suite we stayed in was absolutely gorgeous and very big. The only issue we had was there was no running water for a few hours and then when it did return we had no hot water - although it returned in the hand basin...
