I have stayed in Birmingham many times over many years. I have never stayed here before and was a little dubious as I had read negative reviews and I paid a low price. We were met by a very friendly man in reception, swift check in and he was interested in assisting us with our weekend plans, we were in...

The hotel was looking a little tired. It is located in the business area of Birmingham and not close to the main train station. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The food was ok but they could try harder in the restaurant when looking after their customers. There is no car park on the site but one behind the hotel....

I booked this hotel for my girlfriend and I for a nice romantic weekend. We have stayed in many hotels across Birmingham but decided to try a different scenery and something new. I checked in on my own on 09/10/15 as my girlfriend had work commitments and was due to join me later that night. The room I was originally...

With a short gap in my itinerary for the day and finding myself in the St Chad's Queensway area of Birmingham over lunchtime I decided to pop into the Royal Angus and go to the bar/brasserie on the first floor and get a sandwich and a glass of wine. Sadly, I got there to find the bar closed. I spoke...

I was very pleasantly surprised - after having read some not very positive reviews. Our room was great, the bathroom was fine and the public areas were clean, elegant and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and obliging, during the course of our stay they even managed to cater to our first aid requirements! To top it all, I paid...

Myself and my boyfriend stayed in room 508 for one night. The hotel has discounted parking on the NCP Royal Angus car park. We paid £12.30 for 22 hours. There was also a door from the car park direct into the back of the hotel which was ideal for carrying bags etc. The room was clean and there was free...
