Overall negative experience. Slight damp odour in the room, poor wireless convection, staff not particularly interested in resolving any issues. Would not really recommend staying there, to be honest.

We used to visit this pub all the time until it was taken over a while ago by fayre and square and it went down hill so I stopped using it. Decided to give it ago with the family after not going for over a year. Bad decision food took ages to come out and didn't really enjoy it one...

This is a nice clean budget hotel - don't expect the Hilton! The room was clean and very comfortable - a bit of traffic noise but nothing excessive. Decor is a bit dated - but as it was a room to sleep in it was fine! The receptionist - Jayne was wonderful - a real credit to the place!

Needed to come to Coventry on business and needed to stay the night and saw the cocked hat hotel online. First things first, the website used the beautiful old pub building next door as some of its photos which confused things as when I arrived the hotel was the 80's building next door! The communal areas all need a massive...

Although a little difficult to find initially the 2 night stay was absolutely excellent - rooms clean and fresh and the staff were polite and helpful at all times. Breakfast is made to order and is well presented hot and fresh with no soggy bacon and eggs sitting in warming trays for hours - highly recommended

Good location for our visit. We stayed for two nights while attending a funeral in Rugby. We arrived by air so used public transport, the no. 86 bus from Coventry to Rugby stops 3 minutes from the hotel. Warm reception from Jane who was most helpful offering to help carry our bags upstairs to room 23.The weather was hot but there...

We stayed in Room 33 and were really disappointed! Normally we stay in the Premier Inn across the road when visiting family but thought we'd give the Cocked Hat a chance - our mistake. In the room, the first thing noticed was a great sized mirror on the wall for drying hair etc. swiftly followed by the fact the plug...

Stayed at the goodnight Inn for an overnight visit to Coventry. Warmly welcomed by the receptionist and made to feel at home. The room was comfortable and well appointed. Good night's sleep and an excellent breakfast in the morning. My only problem with the stay concerned the attached fayre and square restaurant. We decided to eat there and all I...

2 weeks ago I booked this hotel for a 2 night stay on the Internet. An agency this hotel uses to drum up custom. I specifically requested that the hotel was suitable for disabled customers and required a ground floor room with adult disabled washroom facilities. Following a telephone call to the hotel by the agents I was assured that...
