Needs a lot of TLC! Had to ask for a different room in the end. The best thing about the hotel (in my opinion) is the adjoining restaurant. Perfect location for the city centre but needs a total refurb.

Visited Coventry for the Godiva Festival, this hotel was only 5 minutes from festival site, it was comfortable all gadgets worked, carpet slightly the worse for wear, but value for money wise would be hard to beat. An added bonus is the Indian restaurant in the hotel!

Myself, my partner and other family members booked this hotel as its convinient for the war memorial park for the godiva festival. On arrival the man at reception was lovely to give them due credit. Myself and my partner were assigned room 59 away from other members of our family who were in rooms 80+. We were not too concerned...

The title speaks for itself. Just simply don't bother. As a property professional it's embarrassing and the owners should be ashamed. Beautiful Porsche parked outside though...! Needs a complete refurb and the rooms smell of damp including parts of the corridors throughout.

Staff friendly and helpful. Bedding and towels clean. Bed like sleeping on a wooden plank with nails. Carpet marked. Headboard stained. Bathroom clean but unpleasant. Woken up at 4.30 by doors being slammed and raised voices. This lasted for over half an hour. Finally sleeping fitfully to be woken at 7am by scaffolding clattering and a large blowtorch being used...

This hotel needs to be condemned. Everything about this hotel is bad. Bedroom doors don't shut properly. Bathroom full of mould. Bath peeling. Shower trickles. Carpet in room sticky, cups for tea/coffee absolutely filthy. Kettle disgusting. Even the lights don't work!!! Only thing that does work is the TV. Which is ironic as there's no way you'd pay me to...

Last minute booking for work accommodation... rang up in the morning and booked 4 rooms without any problems. Never received booking conformation. Turned up for check in at 5:30 pm and the response I got from reception was "....no". Apparently morning shift and evening shifts don't talk to one another. When I tried to sort the issue out I was...

Booked this hotel after finding online deal- we reasoned that although photos of the hotel exterior looked dated, the promo interior and bedrooms appeared a good quality. ARRIVAL- In reality, on arrival, it is evident that the entire hotel is stuck in the 70s. Reception staff were not overly polite, and failed to explain why they needed to take (and...

So glad it was a one night stop over . Relieved I checked the inside of kettle, yuk!!!!! Don't stay here, far better places for same price. I try to stay somewhere different each visit and this has to rate the worst. went there for a carvery years ago in its heyday, so sad to see it's demise.

I booked and paid for two nights here two nights ago staying for a family funeral. My room was absolutely disgraceful! The windows were so filthy you couldn't see through them, skirting board off the wall with large nails exposed, ceiling mouldy and falling down, blood on sheets in bed!, filthy mouldy shower curtain and hairs all in bath, dust...
