I will admit after reading some reviews I wondered if I was staying in the same hotel. Everything was fine. Yes some of the decor is dated but you can clearly see that this is being worked on. Check in was fast, the staff helpful with directions and recommendations. The room was clean, the bed comfy. Didn't get disturbed by...

My daughters booked this hotel for a afternoon tea, as it was my birthday. There were 4 adults and a 8 year old. We had a really lovely time the staff were very good . They even bought put a small cake with a candle and sang happy birthday. The "tea" itself was very nice and fresh.

Generally some of the other recent reviews are correct. I stayed in Room 33, down a corridor in a very bad state of repair. Wallpaper peeling etc. The room was tired but for one night, ok. The bedding was clean. Sadly the pictures you see must be of some renovated rooms? The staff were great! The bar and food was...

A last minute booking at a very good price so that needs considering. My room was clean and tidy but a little dated with the bathroom being even more tired. However they are clearly in the process of renovating as the corridor was freshly plastered. At the price I paid it was good value but not quite as the pictures...

Now usually I stay in hotels that I have booked and this time we left it up to our colleague. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!! Without a doubt the worst place I've stayed and I've stayed in some small random across the country. Some old hotels are small, quaint, have character and retain the old features. Some hotels are new and modern. This...

Staff and food is the main selling point of this hotel. It is also an excellent base for visiting Coventry Birmingham or even Stratford. Close to the airport but still quite enough for small children to sleep at night. Only complaint and it's not even a complaint as such but the dector needs updating. Would stay again.

We calibrated our 50th wedding anniversary here, from start to finish the service attention to detail & food were top class The tables were set out so all members of our party (16) could talk to each other & the tables were beautifully decorated. The service we received was top class as was the 3 course meal, all served piping...

Nice size with all the usual amenities, tea/coffeemail, TV and wifi. The bed was comfortable. The only issues I had was no hot water in the evending, not sure why, the...

attended a ruby wedding celebration and the room was set up very well to accommodate our party as well as other diners. staff were really helpful and efficient and the 3 course meal was good value for money. the starters were excellent and the desserts were very good but the roast meats could have been more tender. all in all...

Stayed for a night as visiting family in Coventry. Quite disappointed to be honest. I payed £84 the Hilton was £92, I chose Jacobean as it included breakfast and their website was quite appealing. However after a easy checking in we walked in our room and was left very disappointed from then on. The room was clean but the room...
