Pub was warm, but not very welcoming if the landlady had smiled her face would of cracked. We stayed one night, room was large, clean and warm Good selection for evening meal. The lady doing the breakfast was very friendly and accommodating.

We recently stayed for two nights while visiting relatives. A decent size room which although a little tired was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was the minimum they could get away with: only orange juice, no fresh fruit or yogourts and the cooked breakfast was the usual bacon and egg etc or scrambled egg with smoked salom.

We stayed here on Saturday to attend our sons wedding nearby.we had 5 rooms. . Rooms were clean and warm. The bed was huge and comfortable. Towels were large . Lots of toiletries . We've eaten here on many occasions but it was our first overnight stop. All staff, as always very pleasant and helpful

I had traveled for 5 hrs arriving late at 21:05 to be greeted by a young lady who was pleasant enough. Gave my details and waited. Initially I was asked at what time did I like to have breakfast and then it all started to unravel, and after much looking in the diary and whispering I was told there had...

Booked a table at the last moment and staff were very accommodating, reserving us a table in a shady spot, as requested. Being a Friday evening on a hot summer's night the beer garden was busy and there was a good atmosphere. Our order was taken promptly. Food arrived piping hot and was delicious - spaghetti bolognese for me and...

My bedroom was lovely, but the toiletries should have been replenished. The bathroom wasn't cleaned or a dirty towel replaced. Breakfast was good - plenty of toast and coffee. Not a great selection of veggie evening meals. Beware - no pub or food on a Sunday evening.

The only okay thing about this place is the dinners - nice cooking. But the staff is rude and resentful if you ask for anything. If you can't find key for room they are put out - and let you know this. Comment if the room looks messy. When asked why breakfast so delayed they snap at you and say...

This is a genuinely dog friendly pub/hotel. The rooms are very good in a block attached to the pub. We had an evening meal which was very good (generous portions too!) and a substantial breakfast! Recommended.

Just needed somewhere to change and sleep as I had a party nearby, and this fit the bill perfectly. Welcoming staff, comfy & clean bedroom, delicious full cooked breakfast the next day, nice pub bar area, and we were given a door-key so we could come in at 2am - so all good. 10 mins' drive to central Chichester.

We went there with some friends and had a lovely time. Very typically English country pub with nice ambiance, good parking facilities and a Beer garden The pub/restaurant is made out different little rooms which makes it very cosy. The food was good and the portions were generous. The waitresses were very friendly and helpful. It is conveniently situated outside...
