As previous reviewers have noted, the owner was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was beautifully set out and plentiful, but we could have done without the woodlice on the table and the slug trails on the carpet. The sofas in the residents' lounge had powdery mildew on them, and my colleague acquired fleabites on her arms. This place must have...

I spent 2 nights at Aitches. David was extremely friendly, pleasantly chatty. He helped me to carry my luggage up the steep stairs and cooked good breakfasts. My room ("Emily") was on the small side but OK for one person and cosy, with a nice view of the parsonage. Victorian knick-knacks gave the place a lot of atmosphere. The restaurant...

Chose this accommodation due to the fact that it was the only accommodation offering a 1 night stay over a weekend, as this is all we needed after attending a nearby wedding. The one night we stayed was one too many, the bedroom and bathroom are both unclean, old fashioned and in serious need of redecoration, modernisation and a deep...

We had a one-night stay with our dog. I was very pleased that our dog was welcome and even allowed in the breakfast room. The owner could not be more friendly and helpful. However, our room (Anne, in the main house - we thought we might get the basement room mentioned in other reviews) was disappointing; tired decor and furnishings,...

We stayed here because we wanted to visit the Bronte Parsonage and you could book just the one night and not have a min 2 night stay. My husband booked it and I did not actually read any reviews on trip advisor before we went, just the reviews on Aitches website........although David is very welcoming I would not stay here...

I recently stayed at the Aitches for a mini break and would not stay again. The room was filthy, cobwebs, skirting boards thick with dirt, bathroom mouldy. Left before breakfast as didn't know what the state of the kitchen was considering the state of the room.

We just spent Saturday night in the Charlotte room everything you needed was there and the bed was very comfortable. However the room needs a really really good cleaning and dusting. Cobwebs dust and dirt not been touched for quite some time, the shower tray was full of scum and the bathroom sink taps haven't been cleaned for a long...

Just spent three nights at the Aitches with my husband and loved it. The owners are very helpful, and there's plenty of information on the area available. My husband loved having a chat with David in the mornings before we headed out for the day. The lounge room is comfortable, and I loved the fact that there was a bookcase...

The guy is lovely and very helpfull. We would not stay again as the rooms have a very damp feeling and look so very tired. Breakfast was fine but the dining room was not clean. Its in a great spot for browsing Bronte country though... shame about the place really.

We arrived earlier than expected so had to wait for the room to be readied. The basement room was clean, but did feel a bit dampish after three days of rainy weather. There was no noticeable mildew anywhere nor any odour of such. Breakfast was good, with a nice choice of options (more than one egg allowed compared to other...
