Needs an overnight but don't like city centres as I was on my own. Found this through late rooms and what a place to stay. It's a catholic pastoral centre ... No preaching though. Has a great driveway so no noise from the main road. All the facilities of a good hotel. Made to feel welcome and the atmosphere so...

We found Hinsley Hall was a very good, budget place to stay overnight while we visited Leeds University. The attractive building is located in spacious, peaceful grounds with ample parking. Headingley shops, restaurants and bars are within easy walking distance and Leeds University is only a short bus ride away. We were allowed to leave our car at the hotel...

I stayed here with my mum whilst on business photographing a wedding in Leeds. It isn't your usual run of the mill hotel, it is actual a religious retreat , it is however extremely friendly and the room was lovely and clean. We were able to get s cup of tea when We got in from work from the kitchenette...

All the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially the Scottish lady on reception. The room was adequate and kept clean and tidy with towels changed daily. The breakfast was very good. The hot breakfast consisted of quality products cooked to perfection. There was also a good selection of cereals and preserves. The location was good. It took about 7 minutes to...

My train got delayed and I arrived at this venue at 10.30pm. There was no-one on reception and I couldn't get in - I rang and no-one answered. As a female by myself I was extremely worried and I was on my own and had no where to go. Eventually I had to order a taxi and get back into...

We appreciate Jean C's comments and I have been in contact with her, discussed the matter and hopefully resolved it so that she will be using Hinsley Hall again in the future. Her comments highlighted how we could improve our wording on the Booking.com. website and this is in the proccess of being done.

Just come back from here! We booked it through booking .com as it was close to Harewood Hall which we wanted to visit! It was great for location. The place looks like a beautiful Victorian Mansion however from the moment you go through the doors it looked like my aunts care home! The place is a religious retreat and this...

From the moment from checking in to leaving, I felt relaxed and wishing I was staying longer. The lady on reception was friendly, helpful, not rushed and all with a lovely smile. The room (suite - upgraded😊) was clean, bright and comfortable with a kitchen next door where hot drinks could be made at anytime of the day/night. Wifi was...
