Large chain hotel. Very nice but dated. The room was Ok although a bit chilly. Heating not very effective. Room had no frills very plain and quite small on the lower ground floor. Food was average but we felt highly priced as were the drinks at bar. The breakfast was Ok but nothing special.

We stayed here just before the final stage of the leeds country way as it was near Golden Acre Park. The menu was overpriced, the room very tired and not overly clean. The bar had even run out of crisps and had only one packet of biscuits to offer. We decided to get a sandwich in the room and were...

Checked in with some difficulty and was told i would be getting a refurbished room. I was given a room on the lower floor dating back to 1990 style with peach walls. A very Cold uninviting room. Barthroom was discolured and yellow .looked a very tatty room indeed. Wifi barely worked on the lower floor. If this is the hotels...

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel, clean nice meals friendly staff. However, don't telephone the hotel. It took 3 attempts to get through once I was cut off and then left hanging on the line to have my booking confirmed at a cost of £9.21. O845 number.

Hotel is easily accessible with more than adequate parking on-site. Staff were lovely, though your typical inside cost apply in terms of food and drink. Can't also fault that you also get access to the pool and gym facilities which were also good with again nice staff. Only faults I could pick are that of an older hotel (which this...

Stayed here for a few nights with work, the hotel is a little run down yes and needs a good re-furbishment, but it's comfy and beds are pretty new. My room had a very strange damp smell, but other than than it was fine. The restaurant is lovely, really nice food.

Horrendous from start to finish. Floors in and around pool area were filthy and covered in hair, old plasters etc. Food was inedible - I'm a solo female traveller on business and ate in my room for all 3 nights of my stay as the dining room was so depressing/full of British Gas engineers, (all male). First night I ordered...

This hotel is on the far side of Leeds (coming off the M62) so the traffic through the city was heavy on a Friday afternoon, leave yourself plenty of time to get there. First impressions on arrival was of hearing the lone receptionist trying to placate an angry guest on the phone, meaning a bit of a wait for check...

Probably worst Mercure-branded property I visited thus far. Old room, old windows (terrible over cold days), no bottled water nor minibar in the room. Hotel seems not to care about Accor LeClub member status - non of the privileges I have, have been offered. Really strange property.
