First of all I would like to say that I am very pleased from the Glengarth B&b and I can advise it to everyone without any doubt. I have stayed in the Glengarth B&b first time in September for my Msc Thesis Presentation as there was no available university accomodation at a time. The staff were so kind and helpful that...

We were given a very warm welcome when we arrived at the Glengarth Hotel. We had booked two rooms and our group arrived at different times but this was no problem, in fact the owner even explained where the rest of our party had gone whilst they were waiting for us. The breakfast in the morning was lovely, all freshly...

Before I write this review check out the other hundreds I have wrote and you will see I always give a 100% accurate review. We booked 2 single rooms by email week prior to our one night stay. Received an email the day before confirming my booking for 1 twin room which was confusing to say the least. On arrival...

I stay regularly at the hotel and they always accommodate me at short notice and are very polite. Facilities are clean and a great cooked breakfast along with options for cereals, yoghurts and fruits. Great location and free parking available.

The beds were really hard, like sleeping on the floor, and the pillows were desperately worn out, one pillow case had two pillows inside as they'd lost all padding. Had it not been so late at night we would have checked out and found an alternative. The shower switched to scalding when neighbouring rooms turned their cold taps making showering...

Stayed here for one night as we were attending a function nearby at The Faversham, which is about 5 minutes walk away. It is an old Victorian building which is in quite a run-down condition. The first thing that greets you is a strong smell of mothballs as you walk in. We stayed in Room 15 up in the attic....

Hotel was ok for 1 night not sure I would spend any longer here. Daughter graduated at Leeds Uni so location was excellent & had car parking space which was very handy. Staff very friendly & cooked breakfast just about ok. Hotel though needs complete overhaul as rooms looking very tired & neglected.

Stayed in the single room £40/night top floor for a few days while attending a course. The room was clean, comfortable, had free parking (though limited by car space) and included a free cooked breakfast. For accommodation near Leeds university on a budget, this is an exceptional place to stay.

The rooms are greatly in need up a freshen up. No nets at the window so you have to get dressed with the curtains closed. The shower seems to come off the mains water so goes hot and cold and is not very strong. A wet bath mat was left on the floor of our bathroom. The breakfast was just...

I travelled from my country and going to work in University of Leeds in late April. I booked a room online and got confirmed quickly. When I arrived at the hotel I was assigned in Avalon Guest House, one block down the hill. The room size was enough for me. The shared shower room (unfortunately not big enough) and toilet...
