Yes you get what you pay for BUT our room was very poor. One see-through sheet on a mattress which had seen better days (probably in the 1970s) and bathroom was really a cupboard in the room which was dirty and very badly fitted (talking chunks falling off). Outside the window (room 13) loads of painting gear and rubbish had...

The hotel looked lovely on the site but it was far from it , the bathroom was dirty the toilet was unflushed large chunks of floor missing in the room, the bedding was clean and the bed was comfy the reception area and dining room was nice, the breakfast was vegetarian only, safe to say would not stay again.

I stayed for one night, was happy with my room it was clean and smelt lovely. Staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. A small warm room for 1 as a great price considering I could walk into the city center.

Needed a place to sleep after seeing a gig in Leeds. Perfectly comfortable and adequate, only £8-£10 to the centre in an Uber. Lots of stairs so wouldn't be very accessible for some however. Think the building might also need a little TLC, but that didn't hinder our stay at all, it's a 2* hotel and what you see is...

Me and my partner stayed here as we were attending a music event near by, the staff on first impression were okay but not engaging. Room was clean and did the job, appreciated the tea & coffee in the room. The walls being very thin which meant we were woken up by guests staying next door. The hotel really needs...

Reading a lot of bad reviews on here but after after staying here it's clear you get what you pay for! At £35 a night you can't expect too much. A bed with clean sheets and a TV that works. That what you get and at £35 it's probably about right. It's good value but don't expect luxury!

Stayed here for one night with daughter and grand kids when daughter had a procedure done at St James hospital. Room was quite large with plenty of windows that actually opened. En suite good with a powerful shower. Bath available downstairs if we preferred that. Comfy beds/pillows with proper duvets, and lots of nice fluffy towels. Quiet location. Taxi ride...

I stayed with a friend in September and this hotel was a great location near the city centre but it's certainly seen better days. The bedding and sleeping area was clean but the bathroom left alot to be desired. For price we paid this was average. Walls were very thin and we had noisy neighbours (probably unlucky) but it served...

Stayed here for one night to attend uni open day. Pros - free parking , close to centre of town. Cheap. Cons- unfriendly staff, basic accomadation with hard floors meaning sound travels between floors and rooms. Mould in rooms and worse, in bathrooms which had loose tiling, no mirror. Basic beds, thin duvet , not a good experience at all....

I happily booked this room as on their website it clearly stated 'check in at 2pm, however earlier check in can be arranged' I then rang to arrange early check in and was told curtly that they didn't do earlier check in. When I said I'm reading it off your website he questioned me where? like I was lying! he...
